Before you decide on a puppy from our kennel, we would like to say openly what matters to us.

Our puppies leave for homes where they will live in close contact with their people. The Golden Retriever is a social, sensitive and very people-oriented breed. It was bred to cooperate with humans, and closeness to the family is one of the most important parts of its life.

Life With the Family

For this reason, we do not place puppies into permanent outdoor living in a kennel, by a dog house or in a garden without daily life with the family. A garden is a wonderful bonus, but it is not a substitute for shared life. A Golden does not want to live beside the family; they want to be part of it.

This does not mean the dog has to sleep in your bed or spend all day on the sofa. It means ordinary presence: being at home, going outside with you, learning, resting near you and sharing everyday life. This is where a Golden Retriever thrives most.

Time, Exercise and Guidance

We also wish future owners to count on time for upbringing, exercise and meaningful activity. Golden Retrievers are usually kind and eager to learn, but they are not ready-made family dogs without effort. They need guidance, patience, contact and regular activity.

Before reserving a puppy, we like to meet you in person. We are interested in how you live, what plans you have with your dog and what you expect from life together. Not to judge anyone, but to make sure the puppy goes to a home where they can be happy.

What We Wish for Our Puppies

  • to be full members of the family,
  • not to live permanently in a kennel or isolated in a garden,
  • to have enough contact, exercise and kind guidance,
  • for their people to count on responsibility for the dog’s whole life,
  • for their families to be able to turn to us whenever they need advice or help.

If you are not sure whether a Golden Retriever is the right breed for you, please write to us. We would rather talk everything through calmly in advance than later see an unhappy dog and an unhappy family.
