Rosenaw Aurum
The name of our kennel Rosenaw Aurum carries a piece of the place we come from and the love for the breed. "Rosenaw" comes from the historical name of the town Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and "Aurum" means gold in Latin – exactly what Golden Retrievers are to us.
The very first was Dexík. A Golden Retriever without a pedigree, but with a huge heart. He taught us how incredibly kind, loyal and sensitive this breed is. Thanks to him, we fell in love.
After he passed away, Alma came along. Our dream girl who took us further – not only towards breeding, but also towards a deeper understanding of everything a Golden Retriever can be.
We are just at the beginning of our breeding journey. We are learning, gaining experience and want to walk this path honestly, with respect for dogs and the breed.
Our goal is to breed well-balanced, healthy and social dogs that feel equally comfortable in the show ring, in the field and in the middle of a family living room.
Rosenaw Aurum is a registered kennel of FCI, member of KCHLS and the Retriever Klub CZ.

Alma Bohemica Aurum
Temperament
Alma is our dream Golden Retriever girl. She came into our lives like a whirlwind and quickly became a companion for every occasion – trips, holidays, sports and quiet evenings at home.
She has a remarkable gift for sensing the energy of others – whether people or dogs – and naturally adapting to it. This makes her incredibly non-confrontational and harmonious. She loves everyone unconditionally, is friendly and open, yet beautifully calm at home.
At the same time, she can’t hide her playful "devil" side when it’s time for action.

We are preparing Alma's first litter. Details about the sire will be announced once confirmed.
Waiting list for serious families
We are looking for serious families who understand what life with a Golden Retriever involves and want to offer their dog a loving home for life. Previous experience or specific training goals are not required. We also warmly welcome families who would like to pursue gundog work, other canine activities, sport, shows or possibly breeding in the future.
- the puppy will be a full member of the family,
- the puppy will live in daily contact with people, not permanently in a kennel or isolated in the garden,
- you will have time for training, exercise and meaningful activities,
- you understand the responsibility and commitment involved for the dog's entire life,
- you will be happy to stay in touch with us after the puppy moves to its new home.
The waiting list is non-binding and does not reserve a puppy. We will consider each puppy's temperament and needs, as well as the situation of each family, when deciding on placement. If you feel that Alma and her future puppies could become part of your life, tell us a little about yourself and your plans. We would be happy to meet you in person, perhaps during a visit in Vigantice.
We have already chosen the stud dog. We are not introducing him publicly just yet, but we will be happy to tell prospective puppy families more about the planned pairing.
Preliminary timeline

- In July 2027puppies may leave for their new homes no earlier than at 8 weeks of age
For us a puppy is a true family member. From the very first days it is in close contact with us, our children and the normal running of our household.
How we raise our puppies
Our puppies are raised in a family environment. Step by step they are introduced to different sounds, surfaces, people and situations – from quiet evenings on the sofa to exploring the garden and taking short car rides.
We are happy to support new owners with advice on care, upbringing and training. Our puppies do not leave us empty‑handed – they take a piece of our hearts with them and we like to stay in touch throughout their lives.
What your puppy takes home
- purchase contract and FCI pedigree issued by ČMKU
- vaccination booklet / pet passport with valid vaccinations and deworming
- food for the first few weeks, basic supplies, a favourite toy and a small surprise
- detailed information on care during the first weeks and months

Alma successfully passed the autumn hunting trials in Lidečko
Alma passed the autumn trials in MS Lidečko with 3rd prize. Nerves, humility, a first experience with real game – and a clear plan for what to work on next.
Show weekend in Split – Alma 3× Excellent 4
At the 4 Night Dog Shows in Split, Alma earned 3× Excellent 4. A first BOJ with Essie from Beskyd Hill and a weekend full of great moments.
Alma visits a school
At the end of June Alma visited a school. We told the children about retrievers, showed some dummy work – and then came the cuddles.
